Reimbursement of Expenses
The Client will reimburse the Designer's expenses. The designer will always get expenses preapproved by the Client. Expenses may include stock imagery, cost of licensing a font etc.

Termination Payment
In case of project termination, The Client will pay the Designer for the work done up until when the service agreement ends and will reimburse the Designer for any agreed-upon, non-cancellable expenses.

Rounds of Revisions
Rounds of revisions are defined as tweaks that fall within the scope of a project brief such as but not limited to colour changes. It does not include changes to the overall concept of the design, resulting in the need to create an entirely new concept or idea or total re-design of the work or additional deliverables not defined in the scope.

Ownership & Rights
The Client owns the chosen concepts only once final payment is made in full. The Client does not own any of the other presented concepts or design elements that they did not choose.

Permitted Use By The Designer
Once the Designer gives the work product to the Client and is paid in full, the Designer will only have rights to the work outlined here: The Client gives permission to use the work product as part of portfolios and social websites, so long as it is to showcase the work and not for any other purpose. The Client does not give permission to sell or otherwise use the work product to make money or for any other commercial use. The Client is not allowed to take back this license, even after the Contract ends.

Approval / Errors
The Designer may require clear written approval from The Client at many stages of the design process. The Designer is not liable for errors due to incorrect information supplied by the client, or if The Client misses any errors in early revisions.

Permitted Use By The Designer
Once the Designer gives the work product to the Client and is paid in full, the Designer will only have rights to the work outlined here: The Client gives permission to use the work product as part of portfolios and social websites, so long as it is to showcase the work and not for any other purpose. The Client does not give permission to sell or otherwise use the work product to make money or for any other commercial use. Agency work will not be displayed publicly unless The Designer has received explicit consent from the agency to do so.

Credit to the Designer
The Client is under no obligation to give credit to the Designer each time it publishes the work product (although you are welcome to)!

Source File
The Designer will only provide the source (native) files for the project if this is part of the scope/package. The source file is always included in Logo / Branding projects.

Project Restart Fee
A project restart fee applies if The Client causes delays of more than 7 days mid-way through a project, or start date delays with less than 14 days notice. If a project needs to be paused, we can agree on a new start date based on The Designer’s availability. The project restart fee is 20% of the total project cost.

Late Fee’s for Overdue Invoices
All invoices are due within 7 days of sending unless otherwise agreed upon. The Designer may charge The Client an additional late fee of 10% of the total overdue amount for every seven days that it's overdue.

Printing
The Designer is not liable for any errors in the printing of artwork sent to external printing companies.

These Terms and Conditions are for general use. Clients will receive a Service Agreement to sign when they on-board.
